Wings Unfurled
In the quiet cocoon’s
embrace,
Did the caterpillar
find its grace?
In whispered moments,
did it share,
Its fears, its doubts,
its silent prayer?
Did it emerge, a joyful
child,
From chrysalis, free
and wild?
With wings unfurled,
did it know,
The colors of its
newfound glow?
Amidst the journey, did
it find,
Its purpose clear, its
heart aligned?
Or did it feel, in
depths untold,
As though it wandered,
lost and cold?
Did anyone ever ask the
beautiful butterfly?
Thank you, God, for
every phase,
For caterpillars,
butterflies, and the ways,
That lead us through
the dark cocoon,
To soar beneath the
sunlit moon.
