The Dance of Surrender and Grace
In the depths of
surrender, a journey unfurls,
Where the burdens of
fear, the heart gently hurls.
Consecrate, let go, and
release all the chains,
For in yielding to
grace, true freedom remains.
Religion and sin, two
sides of a coin,
Yet love and
compassion, the heart does purloin.
In the dance of
forgiveness, judgment recedes,
As empathy blossoms and
kindness leads.
Self-criticism, a
relentless voice,
Yet within
imperfection, we find our choice.
To embrace our flaws,
and our humanity,
Is to walk in the light
of true divinity.
For perfectionism, a
heavy chain,
Binding the soul with
its relentless strain.
But in acceptance's
embrace, we find release,
And in self-compassion,
we discover peace.
To belong to oneself,
the first sacred quest,
Yet in connection with
others, we find our best.
For in sharing our
journey, in love we are bound,
And in unity's embrace,
true purpose is found.
So let go of fear, and
step into grace,
In the dance of
surrender, find your true place.
For in becoming more,
than you ever knew,
You'll discover within,
the boundless and true.
