Taming the Wild: A Tale of Land and Resolve
I claimed a plot, wild
and untamed,
Where thorns and
saplings fiercely reigned.
A vision stirred within
my soul: A tranquil farm, a heartfelt goal.
With coffee's warmth at
break of day,
I'd watch the
mountains, skies of gray.
In nature's arms, I'd
find my peace,
As life's relentless
pace would cease.
But dreams alone can't
clear the land,
Nor brambles yield to
idle hands.
It took resolve, a
steadfast heart,
To tame the wild and
make a start.
Each thorn removed, a
step ahead,
Each sapling felled, a
fear shed.
Through sweat and toil,
the land transformed,
A sanctuary slowly
formed.
Now fields once choked
with tangled green
Are open, vibrant, and
serene.
A testament to vision's
might,
And labor turning wrong
to right
