In the Unfurling

In life’s eternal tussle, ‘twixt grasp and release,

Through surrender’s grace, our journey finds peace.

A trial of will, where emotions collide,

Unfurling the grip, when shadows abide.

In moments of anguish, by actions led astray,

A path unfurls, in time’s gentle sway.

Letting go, a liberation profound,

From the weight of the past, in silence unbound.

To accept is to know, some souls must depart,

Mere chapters in life, not the whole of the heart.

Not a single act, but a daily rite,

In divine presence, finding our might.

Bridges alight, forging on without fear,

No looking back, as the past disappears.

In shedding the layers, our true selves revealed,

From the embers of yore, new truths are sealed.

In the courage to release, our spirits find flight,

Unburdened by sorrow, embracing the light.

Though reluctant farewells may tug at our soul,

In parting, new chapters find room to unfold.

For in the release, a story begun,

A new dawn awaits with each setting sun.
