From Shadows to Sunrise
Life is not the
fleeting chase,
Of pleasure’s touch or
hurried pace.
Though youth may
beckon, wild and free,
Its promises hide
misery.
The lure of self, the
siren’s call,
Can build a throne,
then let it fall.
For paths of sin may
glitter bright,
Yet lead to shadows,
void of light.
You’ll find the cost,
as hearts will break,
Through tears that flow
and nights awake.
Grief will linger,
sharp and deep,
A sorrowed ache that
robs your sleep.
Yet in the breaking,
healing grows,
Through every tear the
spirit knows.
For grace, unending as
the dawn,
Will meet you where the
hurt has drawn.
Each wound, though raw,
begins to mend,
With time, with love,
with grace to send.
And sunrise whispers,
soft and true,
“Begin again, for I
make new.”
Life’s meaning isn’t
found in gold,
Nor treasures grasped,
nor tales retold.
But in the Truth that
lights the way,
Through love, through
service, day by day.
We trade the peace of
soul and heart,
For fleeting joys that
tear apart.
Fast pleasures fade,
their echoes dim,
Leaving a hollow void
within.
Yet brokenness can
plant the seed,
To heal, to grow, to
meet the need.
Through grief we learn,
through pain we see,
The path to joy is
harmony.
So mourn the past, but
don’t remain,
In shadows wrought by
guilt or shame.
Step forward now, and
humbly tread,
Let love and wisdom
guide ahead.
For life in Truth,
though hard and slow,
